At the San Pietro
Guided gardens visit
The gardens are one of the most interesting aspects of the San Pietro’s geography, not only for their layered terraces that are typical to the Amalfi Coast, but for their large production of organic produce that is used daily in our restaurants and bars, and the flowers used to decorate the halls and rooms. The Maitre’d will accompany you through the gardens along a scenic path that gradually descends to the sea, while describing the production and harvesting of seasonal vegetables interspersed with colourful anecdotes and curiosities. Please request this complimentary tour at Reception.
Winetasting
With a cellar of over 600 labels, wine is an important part of the San Pietro’s culture. From a theoretical introduction, to combinations, pairing and tasting, our sommeliers will guide you through a private wine tasting in the quiet setting of the Zass Restaurant. Aimed at experiencing the excellence and uniqueness of popular wine territories, our sommeliers offer a choice of 3 regional itineraries (Piedmont, Tuscany and Campania), or a personalized itinerary upon request. Please inquire at Reception for reservation and prices.
Mini Italian course
Learning to speak Italian in under an hour is possible at the San Pietro. In a simple and intuitive 4-lesson mini-course designed especially for our guests, you will learn how to introduce yourself, greet people correctly, order a drink at the bar, or ask for the time. For those who already have a good grasp of the language, lessons can be personalized and calibrated. The service is free and subject to availability.
Cocktail masterclass
Interested in learning the secrets behind the preparation of classic cocktails on the menu? Head bartender, Michelangelo, offers a popular cocktail Masterclass every afternoon at the bar L’Alcova. In this sophisticated setting, you will learn simple tricks of the trade for preparing distinctive and professional drinks, which you can then enjoy with snacks. Ask at Reception to reserve your seat at the bar. This service is complimentary to guests.

This Sunday on Our People, we feature the graduate girls!
Titty Pecoraro is the most recent of the young ladies who recently joined the San Pietro front desk to graduate with a degree in Hospitality Management from the Federico II University of Napoli.
Vincenza Starita and Michela Ferrara finished the same degree the previous two years after completing their internship training at the San Pietro. We are so proud of all three and even more delighted that they have decided to continue to be part of the team for their future careers. Welcome to the HSP family!
